Class Descriptions

Vinyasa Flow

Energise your morning with this dynamic and movement-based practice to heat and challenge the body, working with strength and stability.

All are welcome – however if you are a beginner to a yoga practice or have an injury you are concerned about, please do get in touch first as this will be the strongest and fastest-paced of my classes.

Yin & Meditation

Yin is a yoga practice that targets deeper levels of tissue in the body, increasing flexibility and range of motion in the joints.  A soothing, mindful but challenging practice, designed to ease tension and stress. Perfect for a good night’s sleep 🙂 All levels welcome

Free Practice

A free practice each Friday for anyone who needs a bit of space. The practice will be different each week, it might be a meditation, pranayama or yoga asana class – sign up to the newsletter, as I send out a short email with the description & zoom link each Monday 🙂

Slow Flow

Vinyasa to begin, finishing off the class with some slow, deeply-held Yin time. A slower pace than the full Vinyasa class, so perhaps a good place to start if you are newer to a yoga practice.

1-1 Private Classes

I am available for 1-1 classes on request. A private class, even a live stream one, is a brilliant way to kickstart a yoga practice, or to take it further, whether you are working on inversions, or have trouble keeping focused!

For info…

Yoga is for everyone.

However, when online, it is up to the individual to assess whether they are ready for the class that they have chosen.

Obviously, if you suffer from specific injuries or disease it is best to consult with your doctor first.

Similarly if you are pregnant, follow the recommended practice only.

The practice of yoga asanas requires you – the practitioner – to gauge the safety of your practice within your personal physical limitations. It is better to build up slowly than to force and strain. Whilst you may feel exertion, you should also feel relaxed.

The techniques and suggestions presented in this website and in my classes are not intended to substitute for proper medical advice.

Consult your doctor before beginning any new exercise program.

saltwateryoga.co.uk assumes no responsibility for injuries suffered while practicing these techniques. Please see this page for more details.
